Dental Assitant Training

The Commission on Dental Accreditation under the American Dental Association has approved 269 dental assistant training programs. In addition to practicing theory in the class and practicals in the lab, you can also get on-the-job training in dental clinics and dental offices. While diploma programs can take up to a year, associate degree courses are of 2 years duration and you will require a high school diploma to enter into these programs. But working alongside a dentist is the best way in which you can hone in your dentistry skills and you can learn a lot from observing and assisting your dentist.

Surgeon Job Openings

Residency is over, thank God. But I haven’t nailed down a permanent job yet. All my time now has to go to looking into surgeon job openings.
I’ve discovered that Plastic Surgeon Jobs are scarce nowadays. That’s a serious bummer - I’d really like to stick with my specialty.
I’m trained in general surgery, so any surgery job could work. At some point I may have to settle.
