Thinking About International Banking

May 26th, 2008 by admin

I’ve decided to get out of the Dollar as completely as I possibly can. I’ve been checking into
International Banking for options on doing just that.
Given the growing potential for a collapse in the currency, I’m thinking that it would be good to learn more about
choices for an International Bank Account In the USA.
The worst case is that the dollar recovers, and my other holdings bounce back.
Your comments are welcome as always.

Financial debt relief - The means to survive

May 24th, 2008 by admin

Financial debt is now a major concern to many millions of people in the West; for many people admitting the problem is the hardest part, but it must be done otherwise the situation will never improve. It is important to recognize you have problem and decide to do something about it and seek a debt relief solution. It is essential to manage debts carefully and get rid of them as soon as possible. The most important thing to remember is not to panic and stay focused as this way your decisions will be clearer and more positive. Whilst many loans can end up giving you huge debts you need to plan to pay them off judiciously. At this stage you have to be quite brutal and list all monthly expenditure; from this you will be able to eliminate expenses that are not required and might be considered as luxuries. Cut the credit card purchases by introducing a habit of paying in cash as this will restrict your expenditure to the amount of cash you are carrying.Any spare money can then be placed in a special fund to help with your debt relief payments and although it will take some time for a reasonable amount to accumulate, you will see the benefits in time. By reducing the amount of entertainment you have on a regular basis will allow even more money to go into your fund and your debts will disappear faster.No-one really wants to increase their mortgage repayments but many homeowners see their only option is to refinance their home which can work but just increases the amount you pay in the long term. Before you go down this route you must think about why you want this option when there are others that can be used.Whilst not an ideal solution to paying a credit card installment, it is possible to withdraw cash to do this providing it is not looked upon as a long term plan. Whilst bankruptcy seems to be the only answer there are serious elements to take into account and you would be wise to consult with a specialist bankruptcy attorney first.Unfortunately, some people in debt avoid  bankruptcy filings and resort to using their individual retirement account to help pay their debts but you are on a slippery slope if you take this route. Unfortunately once you withdraw from your IRA, you will lose your future tax-deferred returns so do decide where things are going wrong and then consult with your counselor over your debt relief situation before you go any further.

Online Bank Accounts

May 18th, 2008 by admin

You know, those big marble halls at big banks may look impressive, but the fact is that they’re paid for by the customers. They just aren’t necessary anymore. You’re much better off with online banking nowadays. I mean after all, it’s my money, and I’m lending it to them. They should pay for the privilege. And why should I have to pay fees to them? It’s not like I get to charge them fees when I borrow money from them. I poked around the net, and settled on Bank of the Internet as the best option out there. They pay great rates, and don’t charge those ridiculous fees. Frankly, I couldn’t care less about meeting a banker in person. I’d much rather do my banking online with a click or two than wait in line at the branch. If you’re not earning a good return, you might want to check them out as well.

Forex Dealing Spreads

May 6th, 2008 by admin

When you are dealing on the forex market there is a dealing spread which is presenting you with a buying and selling level for the trade.  If you do take the offer that is being presented to you and the dealers confirm the trade, it is then completed.  Nothing else is necessary for you to do.  No other hold ups.  It’s a time saving transaction.

Under a typical market situation the dealing spread is about 3-5 points.  You have no more to pay, no commissions or exchange fees.  There is security in knowing that you can go in and out of the trade without slippage.

Protect Your Tax Lien Property from Inflation

April 16th, 2008 by admin

The success of the tax lien investment should not depend solely upon inflation. Although real estate is generally recognized as one of the best inflation hedge around, you should not invest in a tax lien property hoping that inflation will rebound and save your financial skin.

An investment – whether it be property or any other form of monetary vehicle - that relies on inflation for appreciation does not really increase wealth, it merely maintains purchasing power eroded by the declining value of a dollar. To increase real wealth it is necessary for the investment to appreciate faster than inflation. This can only be accomplished if value is added in some way.

Why Get A Government Credit Report

April 10th, 2008 by admin

According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, each individual consumer is entitled to one free government credit report each year from the three credit reporting agencies.  These are TransUnion, Equifax and Experian.  You can also get  a free government credit report if you are turned down for credit or a loan.  You will be notified of a loan denial in writing and given the name of the credit bureau from which the company received their information.  You can then send the letter to the credit bureau and obtain your free government credit report that allows you to see the basis of their decision.  You should always monitor your credit and apply to the three agencies once a year to get your free government credit report on an annual basis.

April 1st, 2008 by admin

One of the fallouts of better healthcare services available is that more and more people are willing to work beyond the traditional retirement age of 60 or 65. So  retirement services  now also means the services available to retired persons as well as the process of making use of the services of retired persons. A whole services sector of retirement services has thus come up. Inputs from psychology and the science of geriatrics are made use of to make such retirement services as user friendly as possible. Consolidate Consumer Credit Debt.

March 27th, 2008 by admin

Consolidation of debt means the repayment of one or several debts by taking another loan. This is often advisable, according to experts, in the case of  consumer credit debt .The main reason is that credit cards often carry an even higher rate of interest than an unsecured loan. This means that consumer credit debt can be profitably replaced by taking another secured loan by offering car or property as collateral. In such cases, the interest paid and the period of payment will lower than the consumer credit debt for the card holder. This means the loan repayment will finish sooner than the consumer credit debt and at a lower interest rate.
