Computer Audio Recording Software: Logic Boards

May 5th, 2008 by admin

Computer audio recording software are not as easily accomplished as it might seem because the larger more discreet components found on logic boards cannot be given increased speed without generating increased cost and necessitating a major system redesign. For example, the new Macintosh G3 computers sporting 300MHz processors have undergone bus speed redesigns, but still can yield only 66MHz - up from 50MHz. That is a major improvement but does serve to illustrate the complexity of the system redesign problem.
