What Is Cancer Of The Pancreas?

December 27th, 2007 by admin

Cancer of the pancreas is a disease in which cancer cells are found in the tissues of the pancreas.  This cancer is hard to detect because there are other organs which hide the pancreas.  The stomach, small intestine, bile ducts, gallbladder, the liver, and the spleen are all organs which keep the pancreas from being seen.

The signs of cancer of the pancreas are very similar to those of so many other illnesses.  There may be no signs at all during the first stages.  If you experience any of these symptoms report to your physician:  Nausea, yellowing of the skin, pain in the upper or middle abdominal areas, appetite loss, or unexplained weight loss.
