Foods high in soluble fiber are very helpful in lowering cholesterol levels, especially LDL. Plants are foods that more effective in lowering cholesterol. Replace high-fat foods with all low – fat foods. Oat bran and brown rice bran are the best foods for lowering cholesterol.
