The concept of having fresh flowers around the home is not a new one. People have been decorating their homes, castles and even caves with fresh flowers. They were once plentiful and all you had to do was go out and pick them. Today, it is not that simple as less land is left dormant for wildflowers to grow. Today, we get the majority of our fresh flowers from local florists, nurseries, or even grocery stores.
